Michael Straub

consultant and researcher

Having grown up in a craft business with part-time farming, I led a research project on organic and biodynamic cultivation at the State Office for Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Weinsberg after completing my agricultural studies. Together with pioneers in organic fruit growing, I founded an advisory service and published the magazine ‘Ökologischer Obstbau’ (Organic Fruit Growing). I developed a training concept for technicians and master students and taught the classes myself. For 24 years, I was head of cultivation and research of medicinal plants at WELEDA in Schwäbisch Gmünd and also advised raw material suppliers. In order to pass on my experience and learn even more about the world, I started my own business as a consultant and researcher in 2021.
