We are deeply saddened to know that our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Reto Ingold, passed away on July 11th, 2024. Dr. Ingold dedicated his entire life to the advancement of biodynamic agriculture, a field in which he was not only a pioneer but also a passionate advocate.
We had the privilege of knowing Dr. Ingold since 2018, when he joined our faculty of organic agriculture as trainer in the biodynamicmoduls . At that time, we were in the process of establishing a biodynamic training program for our students and Dr. Ingold played a crucial role as an instructor from then until 2023. His profound understanding of the biodynamic concept and his ability to inspire and educate left an indelible mark on both our faculty and our students.
Dr. Ingold’s contributions went far beyond instruction; he brought a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and enthusiasm to our community. His work not only helped us to better understand the principles of biodynamic agriculture but also significantly enriched the educational experiences of our students.
His legacy will continue to inspire us and future generations of students. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
