Active in biodynamic agriculture since 1982 and fascinated by this holistic cultivation principle for agriculture. Specialization in training and consulting. Since 1995 with his own consulting firm worldwide with courses, lectures, seminars, individual and group consultations on the way. Many years in the training college of the Swiss Biodynamic Vocational Training.
I am interested in the resource-conserving cultivation of rural agriculture, which worldwide cultivates and cares for the soil from which we all feed. I support the development of farmers’ skills so that they can continue to perform this task sustainably in the future.
We about him
Reto’s work in international DEMETER consulting was much more than simple biodynamic knowledge sharing. He fostered peace and the creation of peace substance. He brought people together and opened their eyes to a future worth living for. Reto always saw it as his task to support and accompany people in their projects and in their development towards independence, personal responsibility and professional competence. In this way, he was always a teacher and a friend who was loved by those who knew him.
Once Reto had discovered and experienced the importance of a task and an initiative, he invested all of his energy into it – his entire wealth of experience, his absolute awareness of quality, his love of the earth, nature and people.

In Memoriam
Our dear friend and colleague Dr. Reto Ingold passed away on July 11th 2024. He dedicated his whole life to biodynamic agriculture. He worked in biodynamic agriculture from 1982 and specialised in training and consultancy after his studies. For many years he was active in the Swiss Biodynamic Vocational Training College and since 1995 he has travelled the world with his own consulting company, offering courses, lectures, individual and group consultations.
Unwavering perseverance, infectious enthusiasm, broad-mindedness, capacity for sincere friendship, temperament, modesty, down-to-earthness, dignity… What an extraordinary
honour it was for all of us to share our lives with Reto Ingold.
